This project consisted of the design, shop drawing review, and construction administration for a one‑story library building containing 46,100 square feet and built at a cost of $6,500,000. The structure of this building consisted of a steel roof supported by steel columns founded on shallow spread footings. The building structure was designed to accommodate various "dome" and "barrel" vault type skylights. The library was opened in 1994 and won national, state and local awards.
